A movie’s language is not its subtitle menu
The language shown in the catalog identifies the production. A particular streaming edition can offer additional tracks, fewer tracks or a different dub. Check the edition you intend to play.
Choose captions for the way you watch
Dialogue subtitles follow speech. Captions may include sound descriptions and speaker cues. For quiet viewing or reduced hearing, those extra details can be more useful than a translation alone.
When timing is wrong
A constant delay and a growing drift are different problems. A fixed offset may be adjustable in a player that supports it. Increasing drift can mean the track belongs to another cut; try a matching subtitle edition before repeatedly changing the delay.
Keep text readable on the screen
If styling controls are offered, start with moderate text, a clear outline and a background that survives bright scenes. Preview a conversation rather than using the credits to judge readability.
